TEACHER

Christine is available for private horn lessons and horn/brass clinics within the Greater Victoria area and beyond.  Her teaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals at all stages, developing good habits early on.  She guides students of all ages and abilities to be their own teachers by creatively exploring the instrument and the repertoire together in a fun and engaging way.

Christine is passionately interested in the mental aspects of music and brass playing.  She is keen to dig into conversations about the problematic, yet often-overlooked thought patterns that can plague so many accomplished musicians and discourage many amateurs, and she is on a mission to promote healthy mental habits among brass players of all levels.
